The Staff Selection Commission has officially released the notification for the Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) Examination 2026 for recruitment to various Group “B” and Group “C” posts in different Ministries, Departments, and Government Organizations.

Eligible graduates can apply online from 21st May 2026 through the official SSC website.

Educational Qualification

For Most Posts

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

For Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 60% marks in Mathematics in Class 12
    OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as a subject at degree level.

For Statistical Investigator Grade-II

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Data Science / Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence or related subjects.

For Assistant Audit Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com candidates will get preference as desirable qualification.
